Humans have come this far away but there is one thing that always remains with them. This is their curiosity about a different world or their imaginary world. From the beginning, the human species tends to go far from the real world and enjoy some of their life moments in their imaginary world. That's the reason why movies and theatre came into existence. Basically, cinema is meant to bring people to a different world for a little moment where they can forget about their sorrows, life problems, etc, and can live some beautiful moments of imagination.
Uff, ignore the shit I wrote above, this blog is all about a list of a few movies to shuffle your heart and Netflix account.
If you are in bad mood or worried about the future or overthinking, this movie is a perfect mood booster for you. You will find the best dialogues, romance, dance, songs, dedication and the true friendship of the modern era in the form of Karan Johar productions.
This is a perfect pack for your weekend. Thank me later :)
1. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) : Great modern Bollywood Drama
But the ending was not of Karan Johar types. The dialogue "Jitna bhi try krlo bunny, life mein kuch na kuch toh chhootega hi" fits better on the ending of this movie as well. The ending could be like this:
"Aditi is getting married. Bunny and Naina smile at each other. Naina says him a sweet sa goodbye. Bunny's phone rings in a minute and he's off with his backpack. To a new destination while the "Illahi" song plays in the background. Avi got some investors and finally able to save his bar. Naina and Bunny both are happy they chose their life which is free from any boundaries."
2. Jab We Met (2007): Just Simple and Lovely
The movie is no more different from 2000s Bollywood. If you love to see Shahid and Kareena together, then this movie is for you. A great impractical but refreshing love story with evergreen songs. The way it is shown that how 2 people meet on the train and many incidents happen with them in such a way that they fall in love with each other.
A man who is depressed from his love and business life is about to commit suicide but apparently meets a talkative Punjabi girl and he learned from her behavior which changes her life. The songs are incredible. The softness by Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sonu Nigam and a bit of mixture of Punjabi tadka of Mika Singh make these songs extremely beautiful. A damn good choreography in the song Mauja Hi Mauja. Kareena's acting is fantastic. The storyline is also good but predictable. Overall a good movie with great 2000s songs. Loved the movie and its songs.
3. TVF Pitchers (Web series: 2015): A side hatke refresh content
The way TVF shows how entrepreneurs from the streets of Mumbai born. I watched many series on entrepreneurs but this series gives a realistic impact on us. It shows the practicality behind every startup.
The struggle of 4 boys who left their jobs for their startup idea shows the dedication for their startup. The notable thing about this series is that all characters are with job experience (not freshers). Naveen has worked as an executive manager, Jitu was a coder, Yogi had worked as an operational incharge and Abhay had experience in consultant marketing. It truly indicates that for a successful startup, you first need to work in that field and gain experience.
4. Aspirants (Web-Series: 2021): Amazing series and a good watch for Indian Youth
TVF's Aspirants is an amazing series by Aproov Singh Kalki who himself once was a UPSC aspirants. That's the reason this series is so practical and full of emotions, hard work, friendship and dedication. TVF doesn't simply show a normal story that the lead character cracks the UPSC but They show sometimes it goes in a way we never think. Also, they showed the struggle of selecting an optional subject for a non-core student. TVF is not just a company, TVF is an emotion.
The target audience of TVF is the Indian youth of age 18-30, that's why they made Aspirants, Pitchers, Cubicles, Kota Factory and many more.
5. Bodyguard (2011): Want to feel the old Bollywood? Just go for it.
If you are looking for a realistic storyline or movie with good dialogues, I will not recommend this movie. But if you want to see Salman Khan with an old classical Bollywood story, It might be a good choice for you. Some scenes are mood boosters.
Also, it is a bit mixture of comedy with action. So not a wrong choice if you are unhappy and looking for a mood booster movie. It will bring a smiley to your face.
Happy weekend!
